1. Progress and Achievements
ISPRS Student Consortium (SC) established at the ISPRS Istanbul Congress in 2004 and had its first milestone in 2008 with the Beijing Congress. SC with the approved statues in Beijing has been developing and expanding through the current term 2008-2012.
The year 2009 was an active and productive year for ISPRS SC from many aspects. Key issues such as standard promotional materials; poster & leaflet were updated, a well structured online database and announcement system activated, all by ideas, works and efforts of the SC Board and active members, guided by WGVI/5. With the motivation and support of the society, SC volunteers continue to produce solutions to its own needs. In this way, we not only develop our skills and enjoy working in international team but also contribute to the future of the society. At least but not least SC members enjoy the social activities. Student Consortium, Regional Members, ISPRS WG VI/5 Chair and SC Liason in the Council had hundreds of email discussions. During the year several teleconferences and a video call meeting were also organized between the SC Board.

The logo design for the celebration of the ISPRS 100th year was found very attractive and it has been officially used through all ISPRS homepage and TC, WG pages.
Among the other publications, significant developments were done for the periodic newsletter.
A permanent column to introduce interesting ESA projects, interview section with experienced academicians and professionals are introduced. The newsletter team has been strengthened with new comers for both content and design.
